Hello and welcome!

It is my pleasure to open up another month of contrails spotting discussion.
Except for our outstanding British mate and photographer contrailsUK, I would also like to encourage our Polish friends to share their thoughts and observations here. They will let contrailsUK know what we live with but will also let the rest of us improve our English language skills. It always pays back.

Great that days are longer and longer now.
With them the chances of shooting a nice well-exposed picture are growing again.

Great Start to February, the coming months are the best times for contrails, with the low angled sun plus days getting longer...

contrailsUK Very nice pics. Well, the scope still the same. I used to take photos with a webcam but since last two months I am a happy user of a new Canon 400D.

I can't find out what carrier/s is/are operating here. this photos aren't as good as Yours but both planes have characteristic red rear part of a hull, and the second one is MD11 Smile

those photos were taken in Dublin in January, by my friend - soczus.

Finally after weeks of unsettled weather the skies cleared up today, and I have noticed the days have become considerably longer Razz
